B I O G R A F Y

When I was 6 years old I had the chance to play flute with my school teacher during music classes. After one year I started my studies of mandolin and solfeggio and I began to perform with the string Orchestra “Le due Sponde dell’Arno” with a classic repertoire (Cavalleria Rusticana, La Traviata, etc.).
After this beautiful experience I started playing mandolin with the “Ramo d’Oro” Orchestra, directed by Pino Marcogliese, as a soloist and there I started singing as back voice. After one year I quit mandolin and I became the lead voice of the group. The repertoire included Neapolitan songs from 1200 to modern arrangements (tarantella, moresca, villanella). We attended three times at the Italian Festival in Germany and performed in cultural events and festival in Tuscany and Europe.
Together with Maestro Marcogliese I created a new group named Blummarè, and together with guitar, mandolin and bouzouki we played Neapolitan music form traditions to classics, travelling through the evolution of this music. We performed in Florence during the Summer Festival, in Pisa at the Filarmonica and in other bars and clubs around Tuscany.
I also worked with Gulio D’Agnello, musician and singer of Napul’è and Mediterraneo, reinterpreting Neapolitan songs from Pino Daniele to timeless masterpieces like Malafemmena, O’ sole mio and others. We played around Italy in clubs, cafes and festivals.

In 2003 I moved to Florence and thanks to my voice teacher, Stefania Scarinzi, I started my voice and music evolution that led me to feel my true voice and to discover my immense love for singing. Discovering my own instrument made me study deeper and deeper and today my repertoire wanders from jazz to international and Italian pop together with Neapolitan music, my first love.

I sing with a piano player for congress, meetings and events around Italy and abroad.

Popular and soul music always have a particular attraction on me and that is why as soon as I started to listen to gospel and spiritual I felt my black soul coming out! I’ve been part of a Gospel Choir in Florence now and we performed on national TV and in the main squares and churches of Florence and Italy.

I also performed for some Italian TV shows.
I recorder back voices for a famous songwriter and producer in Italy.
I recorded a “a cappella” piece together with 12 female voices directed by Stefania Scarinzi.

Now I perform in some important clubs and cafes of Florence like Paskowsky, Caruso Jazz Cafè, etc.

Together with Paolo Clementi at guitar and viola we are discovering a new repertoire of pop-rock and blues masterpieces in acoustic versions.
